    Council is reviewing community and cultural facilities so we can meet the needs of our growing community now and into the future. 

Engagement survey competition

    Who can enter the competition?

    Any Lake Macquarie resident aged 16 or over. Any entrant who is over 16 but under the age of 18 years must have their parent’s or guardian’s permission to enter the Survey. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

    What is the prize?

    There are five $100 gift cards to be won. An individual can only win one.

    How do I enter?

    Complete the engagement survey and ensure you state your name, suburb and contact details.

    How long does the competition go for?

    The competition runs from 9am on Friday 1 December 2023 until 11:59pm on Sunday 7 January 2024.

    How are the winners picked?

    A random electronic draw will be conducted to determine the winners on Wednesday 10 January 2024 at 11am. Winners will be notified by Friday 12 January 2024.

    How do I get my prize?

    Prizes can be picked up from Council’s administration building, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point, NSW, 2284. Winners will be emailed information on dates and times that the prize can be picked up.

    What is a Council community and cultural facility?

    Lake Macquarie City Council owns and operates 95 community and cultural facilities across the city. This includes community halls, multipurpose centres, childcare facilities, Scout halls, Meals on Wheels centres, and libraries. Community and cultural facilities provide places where people can meet, socialise, learn, and participate in a broad range of activities, events, and programs. Community and cultural facilities do not include beaches, parks and other outdoor spaces.
