Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during this consultation. Council adopted the Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy on Monday 25 May 2020.

The Policy aims to ensure the undertaking of civic duties does not financially disadvantage Councillors and enables the participation of Councillors from different backgrounds. It also ensures that there is accountability and transparency in the reimbursement of expenses incurred by Councillors.
