The objective of this planning proposal is to amend the Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2014 to rezone 87 Oakdale Road, Gateshead, near the Gateshead Light Industrial Area, from C3 Environmental Management to E4 General Industrial and increase minimum lot sizes and building height standards.

The site is largely cleared and will help address the need for light industrial land in the city in a location that is close to public transport links and other employment supporting land uses.

Submissions close on 23 April 2024.
