Overview

Lake Macquarie City Council is currently reviewing and updating our Aboriginal Community Plan, bayikulinan.

The plan will support Council, where possible, to facilitate the needs of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in Lake Mac. The plan aims to identify key areas of need, prioritising and identifying possible strategies and suggesting ways that identified needs can be met. The plan also aims to highlight current strategies that are working or have worked well in the past and identify ways to build upon those strategies from a strength-based framework.
