Ageing Population Strategy 2022-2026

The initial consultation to identify the needs of our ageing population to access services, facilities and opportunities to connect in our community has now closed. Thank you to everyone who contributed, you can see the results of this engagement in the document library. The project team have reviewed all feedback received and are preparing a report to Council recommending exhibition of the draft Strategy.

We are committed to inclusion of our ageing population in our services and facilities, and building a strong and equitable community.

This strategy will identify what Council needs to do to help people who are ageing to access services, facilities and opportunities to connect in our community. To get there, we need to hear from people who are ageing, their carers and service providers, about their experiences, what we do well and ideas for change, with the feedback being considered in the development of the Strategy.
