Consultation has concluded

The Development Control Plan 2014 - Amendments came into effect 4 January 2021.

Council proposed amendments to the Lake Macquarie Development Control Plan 2014 (LMDCP 2014) . LMDCP 2014 contains guidance for the design and assessment of development in the City. Council regularly revises LMDCP 2014 to ensure it performs appropriately, to provide additional development guidance where needed and to address issues or errors.

The amendments can be viewed here and include:

  • Side/rear setbacks in E4 zones
  • Geotechnical guidelines and controls
