A more inclusive and accessible City.

Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback during this consultation. The project team are currently reviewing all feedback received and will report back shortly.

Lake Mac strives to be a City that is inclusive and accessible for everyone. We are in the early stages of preparing the next version of the City's Disability Inclusion Action Plan. The draft Plan which the community will help to create will set out what we could do to support people with a disability in our City.

The Disability Inclusion Action Plan will cover (the Frequently Asked Questions provide further information on these four themes):

  1. developing positive commmunity attitudes and behaviours
  2. creating liveable communities
  3. supporting access to meaningful employment
  4. improving access to services through better systems and processes e.g. within Council and the community.

There are three ways you can provide feedback to assist in the development of the draft Plan:

  1. complete the below survey (please contact us if you require a larger font survey)
  2. attend one of three drop-in sessions
  3. contact Jennifer Linton-Webb if you would like to provide verbal feedback.

This consultation closes on 15 November.
