Edgeworth Renewal Corridor is a major gateway to the Lake Macquarie Area and a crucial link from this area to the M1 and the Hunter Expressway. The Lower Hunter Regional Strategy identified it as a renewal corridor that can provide for more business and housing development.

Lake Macquarie City Council has developed a land use and transport strategy to guide future development within this area. The Edgeworth Renewal Corridor Report includes a proposed Implementation Plan that recommends options for planning controls to
guide development in this area.

This website allows you to provide Council with feedback on the proposals outlined for this important corridor.

Submissions have now closed, but you can still ask a question of the project team.

Edgeworth Renewal Corridor, there are mentions made about the Edgeworth Sports Complex (off Charles St, Edgeworth) expansion. Will this encroach on the land that is occupied by the Lake Macquarie Live Steam Locomotive Society Co-op? There has been no mention as to the future occupation of this community group within the guidelines of the Edgeworth Renewal Corridor? Also does Edgeworth/Lake Mac. Live Steam Co-op group have any future with it's location on LMCC grounds? Thank you.
