Thank you to everyone who participated in this consultation. Read the engagement summary to view high level results and themes from the feedback received. The project team are continuing to investigate details and opportunities to progress the best design for FAST and will include the community in further consultation on design concepts.

We're progressing with design of the Fernleigh Awabakal Shared Track (FAST), a 3.5km shared pathway linking the end of the Fernleigh Track at Belmont with Blacksmiths Beach.

The project will create a 27km continuous walking and cycling route from Murrays Beach to Adamstown, improving lifestyle and fitness in the community, showcasing Lake Macquarie’s natural assets and increasing active transport options.

This round of consultation closed 3 April. Further consultation will take place once the proposed route near Belmont Golf Club is determined.
