Cataloguing success – iPad winner claims her prize

Congratulations to Kylie Evans of Belmont whose contribution to our Lake Mac Libraries – Be a part of our story – has seen her win a new iPad mini.

The suggestion to improve our library catalogue by introducing a “did you mean?” function to searching was one of Kylie’s great ideas when she spoke to Council staff at Belmont last month.

Library Section Manager Jo Smith said that Kylie’s suggestion has been incorporated into planning for a new catalogue and library management system, which is currently underway.

“The library catalogue is essential to our business. Making searching easier will improve our customer’s experience and access to all Lake Mac Libraries resources and services,” Jo said.
