Edgeworth Library - My children's second home

My children are 9, 7 and 3 and all of them have spent a considerable part of their life at Edgeworth Library. They all know Allison really well and she is absolutely wonderful with them. They have all participated in Read and Rhyme time over the years and all love to read and to be read to. I credit their love of reading to all the library visits over the years and the engagement they find there (as well as making it a priority at home).

Allison is interested in all of us and there is a lovely feeling of community at Edgeworth that is missing from some other libraries. Maybe it's the fact that it's only small but it's a great feeling anyway. You always feel welcome and your children are made to feel special.

Personally, there can never be too many books and DVDs for kids so if there was a way to increase the range of both available at Edgeworth that would be great. When you visit regularly you sometimes run out of different books to read.

The school holiday programs on offer are great and I have travelled to go to things with my kids. Obviously the library at Edgeworth is too small to host many of these. Could they host in the adjacent Community Hall in order to bring some of the more popular events in school holidays to the area?
