Consultation has concluded

Lake Macquarie City Council are in close consultation with NSW Police due to community safety issues in and around Charlestown Skate Park.

We are working hard to keep our residents safe and improve behaviour in the area. We ran a one-month trial period, we are turning the lights off at the skate park between the hours of 10.30pm and 4.30am from 8 February to 8 March 2021.

Feedback about this trial closed 8 March 2021.
