This exhibition is now closed - thank you to everyone who made a submission. They are currently being reviewed by the Project Team and may result in changes being made to the draft LAP.

A draft Local Adaptation Plan (LAP) has been developed for Pelican, Blacksmiths, Swansea, Swansea Heads and Caves Beach. It will allow Council and the community to adapt these areas to the projected effects of sea level rise and issues associated with inundation, flooding, drainage, sewerage and major storm hazards.

The draft LAP on public exhibition was presented as two volumes:

  • Volume One: Draft Local Adaptation Plan
  • Volume Two: Appendices.

The community were invited to make a submission via the online form below or by downloading a submission form and sending it by mail.

The draft documents can be viewed below or downloaded from our document library.

Exhibition closed 12 September 2021.
