The draft Natural Areas Management Guidelines is a new set of draft Guidelines which aim to provide information and a methodology to achieve high quality environmental outcomes.

The draft Guidelines intend to simplify and streamline the process for landowners and developers to create and implement a Vegetation Management Plan (VMP). A VMP is a Council requirement as part of the development application process.

We are asking landowners and developers to use this new set of draft Guidelines until January 2021 and to provide feedback so that they can be improved before being made final. You can provide your feedback on the draft Guidelines by completing the below survey.

Consultation on the draft guidelines closes Sunday 31 January 2021.
