The planning proposal for 18 Gosford Road, Wyee was endorsed by Council on the 5 December 2022. The Council Report detailing the outcome of the exhibition is available on Council’s website.

The planning proposal became effective on 26 May 2023 and sees 18 Gosford Road, Wyee (Lot 217 DP 755242) rezoned from Zone RU2 Rural Landscape to Zone R2 Low Density Residential. This will enable future low density residential subdivision consistent with Council’s Housing Strategy and the Greater Newcastle Metropolitan Plan 2036.
