Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the planning for Cardiff. 

Council adopted the Cardiff Strategic Planning Framework, Cardiff Area Plan and Cardiff Transport Management Plan on Monday 9 August 2021. 

Together these plans take a place approach for the Cardiff centre and its neighbourhood. The plans can also be found on Council's website at Planning for economic and neighbourhood centres.

The Area Plan is included in Lake Macquarie Development Control Plan 2014 and is effective from 6 September 2021.

    Cardiff Transport Management Plan

    We're in the early stages of preparing a draft Cardiff Transport Management Plan.

    This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will also be complemented by a parking occupancy and turnover survey for the town centre and the station.
