Changes to the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act require Council to develop a Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS). The LSPS describes how we intend to achieve our City's vision and values by guiding the growth of the City over the next 20 years.

To achieve this, the LSPS identifies:

  • The Community's vision for future land use in the City
  • Seven Planning Priorities that articulate the special characteristics of the City
  • Strategies that summarise how we will deliver on the Planning Priorities
  • Key change and growth areas.

You can view the draft LSPS below and provide feedback by completing the survey or uploading a submission.
