Consultation has concluded.

The draft Teralba Heritage Conservation Area (HCA) Planning Proposal and Area Plan were adopted by Council on 8 August 2022. The Council report detailing the outcome of the exhibition is available on Council’s website. 

Council will now proceed to finalise the Draft Local Environmental Plan and DCP Area Plan. The Area Plan will become effective on the date the draft LEP becomes effective via notification on the NSW Legislation website. 

The Teralba Heritage Conservation Area (HCA) is of local heritage significance for its historical, social and aesthetic heritage values. 

The key Council documents that will control future development in Teralba HCA include the:

The draft documents were developed based on community feedback received in early 2021 and will guide future development to be compatible with the heritage character of the area.

Exhibition closed 14 March 2022.
