Please keep the park fence fully enclosed with seating outside where parents can watch clearly. Also soft matting on the ground. Bark or wood chips should never be in any kids parks. Enclosed height restricted areas for small children to avoid collision from older children.

The only reason we come to this playground is because the existing equipment is great for younger kids as they can navigate (most of) it by themselves. Per one of the other comments here, there are not alot of parks around Newcastle/Lake Macquarie that cater to toddlers so please keep this in mind when choosing new equipment (especially if you're wanting to bring customers to the businesses along the foreshore). we love this park, and it's becoming a popular spot for a mums group I'm part of too. It's appealing as it is suited more to little kids- please keep it like that! There's very few places left where big kids don't take over. Would love some shelters over the tables, both for comfort and to keep the bird poop away. And a BBQ would be awesome- we could play all day!

I think the Warners Bay park should defanitly have a big sail share as it get so hot there in any type of seasonal weather. A upgraded water play section (similar to speers point park) & a better/safer play climbing activity section, it also needs to be security gated off not just half way around like it is now.

I enjoy spending time at Warner Park with my sister and her little ones. It's a nice place to grab a coffee and let the kids go wild in the fenced play area.
A bench seat with a solar phone charger would be awesome - I've heard about this type of concept in the Boston, USA. Worth looking into!
