Development Control Plan general amendment

Council adopted the proposed amendment to the Lake Macquarie Development Control Plan (DCP) on Monday 28 August 2023.

Council staff regularly review the DCP and have identified sections requiring updates to reflect NSW planning reform and Council strategies. The proposed amendments relate to the implementation of the Lake Macquarie Walking, Cycling and Better Streets Strategy and minor updates to reflect NSW Government policy changes.
