Planning Proposal - Mandalong Road, Morisset

Council endorsed the planning proposal for 56-57 Mandalong Road, Morisset, at the Ordinary Council meeting on Monday 24 April 2023. You can view the Council report (page 60) and planning proposal online. The proposal came into effect on 10 November 2023 and can be viewed online. 

The planning proposal allows additional permitted uses at 56-76 Mandalong Road, Morisset, by amending the Lake Macquarie Environmental Plan 2014. The proposal is intended to allow additional uses on the site to support a proposed specialised retail premises (hardware and home goods) and diversify the range of uses in a location that supports the growth of Morisset as a regional strategic centre.
