December 2020 update

Council ran an early engagement process between the 8 - 18 December to determine if there is community need for a BMX/Bike pump tack in Redhead.

We also asked the community to provide feedback on three potential locations for the track.

In total, we received 439 completed surveys - thank you to everyone who took the time to participate online or speak with us in person.

Next steps

• We will analyse community feedback in January 2021 and compile the results in a final engagement report.
  
  
• Results from community feedback will form part of a formal assessment process that Council will undertake in February 2021, to determine the feasibility of constructing a track in the area.
  
  
• We aim to provide the engagement report along with the final assessment outcomes in March 2021.
  
  
• If a BMX/Bike pump track is deemed to be feasible for the area, we will advise the community on next steps for engagement, which will likely include a detailed design component.
