Planning Proposal - Trinity Point, Morisset Park

At its Ordinary meeting on Monday 23 October 2023, Council endorsed the planning proposal for Trinity Point and will request the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces make the required amendment to the Lake Macquarie Local Environment Plan 2014.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the planning proposal.

The planning proposal is to amend controls to permit a larger scale mixed use tourism and residential development if design excellence is achieved. It also permits a helipad as an additional land use within the existing marina consistent with the existing helipad approval and fixes mapping anomalies with a portion of foreshore land and road reserve.
