About this project

Our draft Councillor Fees, Expenses and Facilties Policy sets the principles to ensure Councillors have access to adequate and reasonable resources to enable them to carry our their civic duties.

It also sets the limits on what resources will be provided and their fair and effective use by Councillors.

The Local Government Act 1993 requires Council to have a policy governing Council's payment of expenses and provision of facilities to Councillors.
