We recently invited the community:

  • To provide feedback on the recommendations in the Draft Working Report, which outline changes to key Council documentation that will control future development in the area.
  • Share local historical knowledge of specific structures in Teralba, which will assist Council to revise the Draft Building Assessment Report and articulate the Heritage value of the area.

Council will revise the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plan (DCP), specifically in relation to Teralba HCA, based on the findings and recommendations of the Working Report and community feedback from this round of consultation. The revised documentation will be placed on public exhibition for comment later in the year.

The Teralba HCA is of local heritage significance for its historical, social and aesthetic heritage values. Community input will assist us to revise the Area Plan that ensures Teralba may uphold its sense of place.
