The park upgrade will include a new playground, landscaping and natural play areas, improved seating and accessible amenities. What are your ideas for this popular spot?

On Saturday 19 November we hosted a morning pop-up session in the park. This was a good opportunity for the project team to have a chat with local residents and park users and ground truth the ideas and suggestions we had already received via the online survey, stories tool and social media.

It was a really worthwhile exercise for the team. Between chats we took the opportunity to observe how people use the park, including the playground and natural features such as the tree stumps.

Chalkboards proved a great way to capture ideas using pictures and words, and we hope it inspired everyone's imagination.

Thanks to everyone shared their thoughts - we hope your enjoyed ice cream!

Check out some pics of the day.
