Losing a family piece of my community puzzle....is sad......

To whom it may concern,

I have recently moved away from the area, but love and miss the small family and community feel of Edgewroth Library. During the four(4) years i lived here i visited every week and loved using all the libraries facilities.....it has been difficult with the introduction of wifi facilities and the constant hassals with computers as we are a small library and only have three (3) public computers for us to use.

The upgrades that are currently happening in and to the Lake Mac computers are terrific in all branches but Charlestown....Sallelite signals limits Edgeworth when there is bad weather.

The only bad thing i have to say is the positioning and the parking at Edgeworth library, i have observed that the majority of people who use the library are young children and their families, and the Elderly people in surrounding areas.....i do have medical restrictions on my drivers license and have a mobilty parking permit, i have to park in ETS parking area to access the library services.

As for the staff at all Lake Mac Libraries i have found them to be helpful and engaging at all times and always happy to assist you with library and community or council matters....

I have maintained my Lake Mac membership even though i have moved back to Newcastle area....i still have contact with Allison and the wonderful ladies at bookclub and would miss this puzzle piece of my social outings if something was to happen....the positioning of this old building and library may have worked before the school and the new road went in but now its very dangerous, yes move the library but put some thought in where the new location should be....aceessible is best for a happy community library.
